"I see said the blind man to his deaf wife"...

 “I see said the blind man to his deaf wife”....

As a “babe in Christ” during the eighties, I am grateful to learn a lesson of life by observation instead of by experience as imparted by the Holy Spirit of God.
I worked as a warehouse store-worker to help my husband through a very difficult time in our history, “Reganomics” at the Commissary – a military grocer. Military life is very hard on young families and I am grateful that Second Lady Pence sought to address transition problems associated with active duty while her husband served as Vice President for the executive branch of our government.
As a continuing higher education student, I picked up classes as I could, given the schedule I was required to work and would on my lunch break read in the break room or other seemingly quiet areas. I was “drawn” to observe the conversation of three cashiers given the nature of their conversation. One cashier would go on bragging about how they had such a marvelous time when their husband’s were temporarily assigned to another base for specialized training, while the second woman agreed and encouraged the third one to come along as “girls night out” would be “fun”.
The time came when the third woman declared that her husband would be away for the weekend and was excited to go out with them for "girls night out" and made plans. The last time I saw the third young woman, she sat alone in the break room and cried. I felt very badly for her and asked another cashier why the woman cried. The cashier essentially told me that she had cheated on her husband and lost everything; her husband, her children and her livelihood and that the “reputation” of the first cashier was disclosed as being an ambitious opportunist, seeking the rank of the third woman’s husband and the “benefits” it provided – she traded “up” essentially.
When I considered the matter, I did not “feel” badly for her as she made the choice to engage in this treachery to begin with and each got what they PAID for – ill gotten “gain” – AND would and have REAPED WHAT WAS SOWN.
The flesh driven worldly have one purpose, to please themselves clearly and the cost are very high obviously to the unsuspecting. Evil will always seek with nuances of guile for one to LOOSE SIGHT OF WHAT IS IMPORTANT THROUGH VANITY – HEREIN, ENTICEMENT OBVIOUSLY.
The Word of God, in the book of proverbs, is replete in wisdom as to the "KINDS" OF FLATTERY the EVIL NATURE OF ENTICEMENT will use against us in this world and clearly the Holy Spirit, our only TRUE TEACHER in the very Word of God readily gives understanding/MEAT to those that SEEK IT – as RELIGIONS themselves have long been subverted in withholding RIGHTEOUS instruction to the faithful but then again, how can one teach what one does not possess? Abhorrently just as there are many false prophets, so too is the propensity for one to hold an advantage over another, as well as personal material gain and NOT the edification of the CHURCH itself SADLY.
An unrepentant and unclean person or self-willed simply we see makes grievous poor choices and fall victim to those which seek to covet; as both have neither the insight nor wisdom to discern, much less are able to further recognize what influences of the world are detrimental to their spiritual walk. They are and remain, blind as well as deaf obviously seeking their own way in pursuing the desires of the heart. But predictably, will continue to assign blame to others (false witness) to ease their suffering; but where “misery” does in fact love company as it seeks to escape self-condemnation in “victim-hood” from again, the unwise and unsuspecting - pity parties in other words. A vicious cycle clearly, never learning how NOT to make the same mistake over again.

Nope, not buying it – “you made your bed, you lay in it” AND SQUARE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
SEEK FORGIVENESS FROM THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN HURT IN THIS CALLOUSNESS SO THAT YOU DON’T REPEAT THIS STUPIDITY AND HEARTACHE AGAIN.
The phrase and MEANING BEHIND “I see said the blind man to his deaf wife” becomes clear given that understanding and more importantly, COMPREHENSION comes from the very SPIRIT OF GOD.
“BUT SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.” - - MATTHEW 6:33.

In conclusion, had any of these women been faithful women of God to begin with, they would not have lost sight of what was truly important and more significantly would have "delighted in the Lord" in gratefulness for that which they did have. Then He could have GIVEN THEM the desires to their hearts - Psalm 37: 4. But sadly the harder lesson of life here illustrates fully 2 Timothy 3: 6,7;

"For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Who could KNOW THE HEART but the One that not only made it but when asked of Him, had cleansed and repaired it?

"I see said the blind man to his deaf wife"...
